Teatro Batumi Nightclub: Entry 80-150 GEL, Open to 06:00

Teatro is Batumi’s flagship premium nightclub: open daily from 22:00 to 06:00, entry by ticket, tables by deposit. The part that matters to your wallet: a ticket bought in advance on the club’s site costs 80-150 GEL, while the same night at the door costs 200 GEL. A couple who thought about it in the afternoon saves roughly 200 GEL against one that turns up in a taxi and hopes for the best. The club sits in the south of the city by the New Boulevard, and its August 2026 calendar brings in both a South African Afro House vocalist and Russian-language hip hop. Before the club opens, the classic sunset stop is the Argo cable car above the Old Town.

It’s a young venue: on 8 August 2026 Teatro celebrates its first birthday. One year is the age where the sound and lighting are dialled in but the place hasn’t yet become somewhere people go out of habit.

What entry and a table cost

Tickets sell in “baskets” at rising prices: for the summer 2026 calendar those are 80, 100, 120 and 150 GEL (teatro.ge, checked 1 August 2026). Baskets close as they sell out, so 80 GEL is the price for someone who booked a fortnight ahead, not an hour before leaving. The door price is 200 GEL, the same across the summer’s headline nights.

The gap is real money. A group of four buying in the first basket pays 320 GEL; the same four at the door pay 800 GEL. That’s the price of one decision taken a couple of days early.

A table works differently, and it pays to understand the mechanics before you book. You pay a deposit, it’s non-refundable, but it’s spent inside on food and drinks, and entry tickets for the party are already included in the table price. So it’s a minimum spend rather than a cover charge. For a group of four a table often makes more sense than four 150 GEL tickets plus drinks bought separately; for a couple planning two cocktails and a dance, it does not. The August 2026 lineup

As listed on the club’s calendar on 1 August 2026:

• 8 August - Lizwi, the South African Afro House vocalist behind “Amathole”, “Waves & Wavs” and “Indaba”, playing the club’s first-anniversary night;
• 15 August - Gunwest, a live hip-hop set with a full stage show;
• 22 August - Tima Belorusskih, a proper concert.

Nights split into two quite different types: international Afro House with guest DJs and vocalists, and a Russian-language pop and hip-hop programme. The crowd differs accordingly, so if you are going for the club rather than for a specific artist, check who’s actually playing. Paying 150-200 GEL to watch a performer you’ve never heard is an avoidable disappointment. Dates and names change, so the club’s own site and Instagram are the live source.

One more detail from the same calendar: the big names land on Saturdays, with 8, 15 and 22 August all falling on a Saturday. The club is open on other nights and runs its own programme of dance floor, show ballet and DJs, but no separate ticket is listed for those, so ask about entry by phone. For planning that splits cleanly: for the full show with an artist, aim for a Saturday and buy ahead; to simply see the room and dance, any night works, but call first about the door.

Dress code, door policy and age

This is the strictest part of Teatro’s rules, and it is worth reading before you buy. In its ticket terms the club states plainly that the venue is strictly 21+ and valid ID can be required; that face control is enforced and management may refuse entry; that the dress code is “elegant and stylish”; and that there is no refund if you’re turned away.

There is a contradiction to be aware of: the event listings themselves put the age limit at 18+ while the ticket terms say 21+. In practice that means one thing - carry your passport and don’t assume a 19-year-old walks straight in. The other common reason people get stopped is arriving in beach shorts and flip-flops straight from the sea, which doesn’t fly in a room full of velvet and chandeliers.

Inside the room

The format is a lounge and a nightclub at once: a large hall with a stage and dance floor, lounge areas with deep velvet sofas, and private VIP booths for groups. At weekends the “theatre” mode kicks in, with show ballet, original productions, lasers and heavy visual effects. The club publishes an aggregate rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 230 reviews on its own site (teatro.ge, 1 August 2026), which is worth reading as the venue’s own claim rather than an independent score.

For a sense of the room: this isn’t a techno basement in the mould of Tbilisi’s Bassiani, and not a courtyard hang like Fabrika. It is a dressed-up seaside club where a good share of the crowd comes to sit at a table rather than stand by the booth.

Booking, and what to ask first

Tickets and tables are sold on the club’s own site, where the seating plan shows the floor, the position of each table and its view of the stage. Online table booking has a cut-off, after which the site tells you to arrange it with a manager in person. The practical upshot: sort the table a day or two ahead rather than at midnight.

Worth confirming by phone before you pay:

• the deposit for your date and party size, since it moves from night to night;
• how many tickets the table includes (extra guests still buy entry separately);
• how long the booking is held if you’re running late;
• what counts towards the deposit, food and drinks or bar only.

Getting there and getting home

The address is 5b Lech and Maria Kaczynski Street, in the southern part of Batumi around the New Boulevard. From Piazza and the Old Town that’s roughly 4.5 km in a straight line, so 10-15 minutes by taxi, and nobody walks it at night. Bolt and Yandex Go both work fine in Batumi, but keep the closing time in mind: the club runs until 06:00, and at four or five in the morning a car takes longer to arrive and costs more than it does by day.

The calmest option is to sleep nearby. Hotels along the New Boulevard and towards the airport road sit on the same stretch of sea as the centre, but leave you ten minutes on foot from the club rather than a ride across town. Is it worth a night

Teatro earns its evening if you like the dressed-up club with a show: solid sound, lighting, show ballet, tables, cocktails. Go on a listed night with a ticket bought ahead and the price is fair. If what you want is underground techno until sunrise and a relaxed door, this is the wrong address, and you would do better with something simpler.
